Student and Early Career Poster Session

On the afternoon of Sunday, April 23, 2017, from 2:00 to 5:00, we are organizing a Poster Session for Students and Early Career mathematicians. The subject areas we are soliciting are: anything from the mathematical sciences, broadly interpreted. (This includes all of mathematics, but also big pieces of physics, economics, computer science, and engineering of various flavors. And of course there are other areas with strong intersections with the mathematical sciences.) We are pleased to announce that there will be a friendly competition overseen by Frank Morgan, editor of the AMS Notices, with the aim of finding expositions so compelling that they find a place in a future edition of the AMS Notices. The Poster session is soliciting both (a) research posters and (b) exposition focused posters that find new ways to illuminate known results.

Location: The poster session will be held on the 5th floor of the CUE on the Pullman Campus.

Poster contributions are encouraged! Please go here to submit an abstract.

Organizers: Enrique Alvarado and Yunfeng Hu
