CUDA: Threaded Programming

Common CUDA Functions

In most cases, we simply link the NVidia pages, since they provide a pretty good summary. The point here is just to make a list of the functions I seem to use most often, for convenience.

Get or set device

These functions allow us to find out properties of the video card we are using, or choose which card to use on our multiple-card machines.

Memory Allocation and Management

These functions allow us to allocate device memory and fill it or write back to main memory from it.

I am trying to learn something about CUDA computing. This is my blog patch for that. I'll post things that I want to keep handy here, and perhaps at some time in the future this will become the core of a seminar site.
