Gain a comprehensive understanding of mathematics and education methodologies while  earning your professional credentials. You’ll earn your degree, complete your student teaching, and graduate with your teaching certification.

Enrollment in upper division teaching and learning (TCH_LRN) courses requires admittance to the teacher preparation program in the College of Education.

With more time for electives, you can broaden your foundation in mathematics, add a minor or double major, or earn an endorsement in middle school math or science. To teach at the high school level, you’ll need to obtain your certification through a graduate program like the WSU Master’s in Teaching.

Allowing you to teach multiple subjects and potentially pursue opportunities outside of education. In addition to your primary area of concentration in mathematics, you can choose a secondary area of concentration from almost any other discipline offered at WSU.
