Molly Sutter Wins AFW Award

Molly Sutter, a PhD candidate in the department, was recently awarded the Harriet B. Rigas Outstanding Woman in Doctoral Studies Award by the Association for Faculty Women.

In Memoriam: K. A. Ari Ariyawansa

Ari Ariyawansa, Professor Emeritus of Mathematics and former Chair of the Department of Mathematics at Washington State University (WSU), passed away in April 2024 in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Mathematics Students in Sweden
